This Makes Too Much Sense For Them To Actually Do…(Part 2)

Guys and gals, here’s part 2 of the email discussion. I had to cut it off because feelings were getting hurt and hate was being spewed. Enjoy!
—————————————————————————————————————————————————
Rod Tigallo – eRich, Sometimes you hard headed as hell. Brothers of whom you trust have a harder time convincing you of what they believe rather than a stranger who provides a fresh new quote, and you change your agenda on life weekly. (Don’t think I’m attacking your character) You have a gift brother that I believe one day will make you rich, but you gone look like Rahman from these hard lessons you be learning.
MAD Med – BULL SHIT!!!! BULLLL SHIT
IF Someone is a good guy … The chance they will be a good guy longer depend on the company they keep and the type of moral beliefs they have from an early age.
If that same person is surrounded by bad influences (legal drugs / Sex / etc) the chance they will do drugs / etc is increased!
If drugs were legal, there would defiantly be an increase in sales!!!
Because more people would be interested to try the drug! And more people will become hooked!
Now in today’s society, not many people stand for anything anymore! As a result they are influence by there environment more then ever!
“Those who don’t stand for SHIT are bound to fall for anything” And in today’s world there are a lot of people that don’t STAND FOR SHIT!
Drugs one week, and your son marring billy bob the next! Society will eat those with weak minds! So if you think this generation is SUS…. Wait till the next!
eRich – I feel you on the survival of the fittest brother, but I also think people should have a real opportunity to survive.
Think about this…
Young brother in single parent household because daddy is in jail (on a drug charge)
Family has low income due to mother on welfare and needs money (brother starts selling drugs because family can’t invest in school and skills training)
Brother joins gang because he needs protection (gang has drug market locked up)
Brother sees Jim Jones song “Na Na Na Na” and the money you can make and jewels you can get (from selling drugs)
Brother gets caught by police and goes to jail (convicted of selling drugs)
Brother has son who starts cycle again…
Money is the root of all evil. It’s why we slave away each day. After getting a record from selling drugs, brothers can’t find a job willing to hire them, so they go back to selling drugs or something else illegal and get caught again or get killed.
Illegal drugs are available now, we all know how to get them. But are we hooked?
LG, you are right about the underground market neutralizing social issues. The issue (disease) that really needs to be attacked is poverty and our government spends so much of our tax dollars on the symptoms, and that’s why society never gets cured. Money needs to flow from the jail system to education. Death penalty would also help. Anybody who admits to killing someone should be killed.
If you are brainwashed, you will not listen to other’s opinions. Is that better for society than everyone having open minds? I don’t know. Probably for the people at the top.
Going to the library is legal, but I’ve never stood in line to get in one.
Koncise – I’m sorry to say….that brother had to do what he had at to do and it’s just called survival of the fittest…..on the flipside of what you said…….
Young brother single family/both parents
Family is middle class
Brother excels in academics/athletics
Brother goes to college
Brother graduates and gets married
Brother has a son with his wife
Brother’s son is taught the ways of the world and how to be successful in life.
Where there is someone doing bad, there is someone doing good…..its a cycle that may sometimes bottleneck in some phases of the cycle.
MAD Med – One week
” I kissed a Girl and I liked Ittttt”
Now look the % of Gays are through the roof!
If this type of marriage become legal, your son will grow up thinking they both are the same because society tells him that!
Next
“I smoked some weed and I’m HooooooooooooooKed…. Now I’m strugg As helll”
Ever body know someone who might have got hooked, So now picture if that same drug becomes legal! how many other people or family might get hooked like people we know!
Look Yall he went to MICDS
He is not from Chicago / Nor the East Saint….
Now if a guy from MICDS almost got caught up in crazy stuff!
Picture someone that face this type of pressure every day, Vs a C section that’s protected in a private school and still at time turn their back on there up bringing!
I went to a private school also… and I also must deal with temptation also!
Nevertheless, the reason people slag is for money, IF more Jobs become available, then the situation you listed will be minimized.
Until then, the last thing you want to do, is make legal a drug that people use to except reality! Because once that’s done our people will start living in the Matrix controlled by the need for weed!
You don’t know, you’re not from the city! So go to Country Day… Because were your people really live, there is no country, The shit is real!
Koncise – I feel what you said Med, even though it was fragmented up. It won’t be matrix, it will be resident even. Like I said before, the issues that we have in places where poverty, they will spill over into middle and upper class places. Truth be told, middle class close upper class white Americans youth use drugs more or equal has black youth.
MAD Med – LOL That mug is extra fragmented!
Koncise – Truth be told, middle class class to upper class white American youth use drugs more or equal just as equal has our black youth …..example….meth, pills, weed, home cleaning products, plants that grow under horse sh%t(shrooms), hgh, keyboard cleaner.
I still made a typo
Yall should just smoke some weed, fight, and then get into yall roadsters and commit crimes…..
eRich – Med, you just exemplified one of the main problems with society. You think you know how going to MICDS was and that East St. Louis was “realer shit”, so you discredit and disrespect what I have learned as if it came from somebody outside of reality. The same happens with cultures and religions not respecting other’s viewpoints. It’s a shame.
MAD Med – Pipe Down
I respect things that deserve respect! I respect our people! And I know based off my experience, that the last thing our people need is an escape from reality! They already spend there pay checks on lottery tickets in the hoods over the US trying to escape reality and live the so called good like. So the last thing they need is another legal way to spend what they don’t have to get away from reality! Our people need to face the truth and start working for a better life style.
½ Man ½ Hater – That’s a good point, E. You can just assume things are easier or better for a person because of the school they go to, house they live in, or car they drive. No one can fully understand another person until you’ve lived their life and have had the same experiences. But isn’t that what makes us unique? By our unique, personal experience. We can’t be so quick to judge another’s view because they aren’t in line with your own. No says you have agreed or accept it, but wisdom comes from understanding it and appreciating why a person would feel or believe a certain way. Consider that.
eRich – I agree with most of what you said Med aka “the realest ninja on the face of the earth”, but people also thought America would go crazy when the slaves were freed because they wouldn’t know how to act. I’m all for laws that protect the majority of people, but drug laws actually harm a majority of people. You have to have faith that people will be smart enough to choose the right path if they are presented with the option to do wrong. That is what freedom is all about. Religion is also an escape from reality, but you don’t seem to have an issue with it.
This Makes Too Much Sense For Them To Actually Do…(Part 1)

Hey all! So today, eRich shared an article about the war on drugs. The article was written by CNN commentator, Jack Cafferty. The issue of legalising drugs is a hot topic that has been in the press lately and drew some discussion from our contributors.
Check out the article and see what our contributors had to say. Keep in mind, this was all through emails so each contributor is allotted some editorial and grammatical liberties. Should get the gist of what’s being said, plus there’s a little humor that comes through here and there.
Enjoy!
————————————————————————————————————————————————–
Rod Tigallo -I am completely against the legalization of drugs. America does need a fix for the financial crisis, but this will only make our penalties for crimes more comparable to foreign countries in order to maintain what little peace we do have.
Think about it. If weed was legalized more drug trafficking would occur, and responsibility of usage would have to be lifted. In order to make responsibility more of a priority to any human being you would have to raise the bar on punishment. For example, the US would have to make get super extreme on tolerance like more death sentences or possible executions.
A death is caused every 30 minutes due to a drunk driver; know increase the possibility of them being high and slizzard.
Would I mind personally if they legalized grisel? Hell naw. But just thinking from high perspective.
Koncise – Whomever wrote this article is an idiot. Legalizing drugs would lead to some type of Civil War in our country. Our country has many social issues that have derived from drugs such as different forms of racism and social injustices. Our country can’t legalize drugs because Americans are not responsible enough to use them. Places like Amsterdam, Russian, and Australia who smoke out and drank alcohol heavily at lunch are more responsible socially because these things were unwritten laws years ago in their history, so today in present culture they aren’t consider anti-depressants but rather destressors to them.
Rod Tigallo – Well stated. Have you also looked at the tolerance they have for law offenders? Crucial. How long do you all think it will take America to surpass its stereotype as the adolescent ruler of the world?
While accessing this topic, I am hypocritical because of my association, and experience with alcohol.
Now look at the subject line. As we grow in knowledge, gentlemen it is optimal to have an open, unbiased approach while making evaluation. Yet, you have to remain grounded to what your experiences have led you. Don’t forget everything you have learned to except what sounds good for the moment. I am guilty as well. But we are all not ready to give up this state of rebellion(I doubt that’s the right word, for it can be defined in so many ways). Finding forever is a journey….

Rich Rundiss – I see both sides of the situation. Although I haven’t read the article I was talking to jorj about legalizing certain drugs and taxing the hell out of it. Do I think it is the solution… NO but it would help the economy. With all of the censorship and illegalization of things such as nudity, tobacco, alcohol, language, and drugs among other things is why our country is the way it is. We try and cover our eyes when it comes to certain things instead of shining light and explaining to our young what is right and wrong. I bet half of the people that tried cigs as a kid did it because they weren’t supposed to, part of the reason kids say cuss words when their parents aren’t around is a rebellious factor. But then when you think about our current state on drugs and alcohol and how they tax you up front for alcohol and then if you get a DUI they tax the shit out of you. Yes people care about drunk driving accidents but expunging a DUI is about MONEY. As far as us having an unruly country with more nudity, drugs, and alcohol. This world is and always will be about survival of the fittest and that means teaching our children right from wrong and instilling values in them that will enable them to have success as adults. The other countries that are more lenient on “sins” still have people that abuse them but it is in a much lesser quantity. I am a firm believer that people will consume themselves with whatever: frat, food, alcohol, pussy, money, whatever it may be but you shouldn’t allow anything to consume your life but religion and family.
Don Juan – E, You posted this article, I’m really interested in how you feel about this.
½ Man ½ Hater – I want to point out that Richard Rundiss mentioned “nudity” and/or “pu$%y” in his comments at least three times. Wasn’t the topic on drugs?? LOL
This is some good stuff. I like the comments.
Rod Tigallo – LOOLL OFF THE CHAIN.
Ky, great point of view. The role of your parents setting solid morals is the key. But if we did change the laws and drugs are legal, the punishment will get more severe to prove a point.
Rich Rundiss – My bad for getting off subject but I think it was along the lines of censorship and illegalization. But juss like that plsmag.com thing that you posted certain people saw art and others saw titties and ass. Be real with yourself and ask what someone from France or Greece saw first and someone from East St. Louis (no roast) saw first and you’ll know what I’m talking bout.
Rod Tigallo – That’s real. But I saw both.
eRich- I disagree with you all on this subject. If they legalized drugs, immediately companies would invest into branding different drugs and making marketing campaigns to appeal to americans. This could cause trouble because people may try these drugs and get hooked during this crossover to legal drugs. This is the only potentially bad thing, but most people who want to try drugs have already done so despite the laws against it.
Nevertheless, the price of the drugs would decrease significantly and opportunity to make lots of money as a seller/trafficker would cease to exist. The great thing about this is that our brothers would not see selling drugs as an option to get rich quick and consequently get caught up in the system. The “War on Drugs” system would cease to exist, which is killing the structure of our families. Many brothers start selling drugs as a way to support their families, get caught up and are stuck in the cycle of jail & crime. This cycle has been planned out by the government. Wake up!!!
Last week, we drove by a correctional facility with around 10 state of the art basketball courts outside. When is the last time you saw nice basketball goals at a public school?!?
Drug sales would generate tax revenue instead of taking away government money for the trials of dealers and jailing them for years upon years. What if brothers got legal jobs and were able to take care of their families? Think about the decrease in gang violence with no turf to protect.
It all comes down to taking care of your family and teaching your kids the tragic impacts of doing drugs. They will always have a choice, and many choose the wrong way to go now. People don’t drink alcohol because it’s legal or because they are of age, they drink it because they want to. So I don’t think the demand will increase all that much.
The people who make the laws are the ones who break them the most. Think about that.
Koncise – Overall it is not feasible to legalize drugs in America. Stated in the article you would have to open all the jails and let the drug offenders out. Once drugs are legalized, what would be the penalty for drug related crimes? Rod and I drunkily spoke this weekend about the same exact thing. Our country is to easy on crime. In Kenya they burning people in the street today for stealing hand bags. Rod stated in some country it’s the death penalty for a 1st time DUI offender….so Me Rod, and Brett wouldn’t been murked out unable to respond to this email. What do you’ll think would be the penalty for drug related crimes? So back to my previous comment it would lead to another Civil War.
½ Man ½ Hater – That Yellow Bastard does have a good point. You know California is trying to work on legislation to legalize marijuana (to a certian degree)
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1888172,00.html?imw=Y
eRich – Yes sir. I wonder what “ailments” you need in order to get that prescription…
Rich Rundiss – It is legal in certain amounts and if you have a card saying that you need it. It is a booming business in the Modesto area where they are big on wine.
Rod Tigallo – E, Come on gee, we all know you never kissed the sky.
Don Juan – I really don’t know how I feel about this subject. I know we would still have street pharmacists though if we legalized drugs. The truth is whatever the government legalizes, people will still want something stronger. if the government allows the legalization of cocaine, brothers will still sell rocks. And rocks can’t be legal because this country will not have human beings, it will have zombies. But at the same time, if I was allowed to drink when I was twelve like people can do overseas, would I be so excited to get tanked this weekend?
So one question is how far are we going to legalize drugs. Because if anything goes, we won’t even have an economy because people would be out of control.
And trust me on this E. If the government did find a way stop poor people from selling drugs. You know what would increase: violence. One thing we can’t stop is poverty, and “poverty is the parent to all crime and revolution”. With having less dealers, we will have more stick up kids. I see it in Brooklyn, a lot of these kids don’t want to do shit with going to school or trying to be something. It’s sad but it’s true. And these kids parents are going to continue to get fucked up and then fuck up their kids lives.
Koncise – E.Rich
I disagree brother. I am an advocate of survival of the fittest(social darwinism). Legalizing drugs will only bring more crime, more chaos, and more death, and potentially homeland terrorism. Drugs may have been planted here by our government. But America is based upon big fish eating little fish. If you take drugs out of the hood…ninjas are going to find alternative ways to get money and hustle…such as killing, robbing banks, robbing people….and acts of crimes that will be unimaginable to get some to get money. I don’t believe in selling drugs, but I do believe in getting money by any means necessary. How easy will it be to take a young man out of the trap…with no dope to sell and say, “go get a job!” Not easily done. Gangs will find alternatives to fight one another that will escalate out of the hoods into peaceful communities. Some things you have to leave be such as drugs and the sell of them and take personal responsibility to excel in life and stray away from those things. The sell of drugs in our underground market neutralizes some social issues.
eRich – That’s why I want them to legalize it dummy.

Beef is what’s for dinner…and lunch….and maybe breakfast

Hey all! I know it’s been kind of quiet lately on [E]lemental KC but it’s because I’ve been in Chicago living it up. I’m in the Windy on business and I had to take the opportunity this weekend to see and do things “Chicago-style.”
So, in the last 48 hours, I’ve had the pleasure of eating at a great restaurant. I went to Portillo’s (which is really called Barnelli’s Pasta Bowl) and had some Italian beef. Mmmm….mmm. For people that know me well or have just been around me enough, I have a tendency to describe incredible tasting food or dishes as pornographic. In the case of Portillo’s Italian beef sandwich WITH garadinara, it was a full on Roman orgy!! If the Food Network had a late-night adult movie it would feature this Italian beef sandwich.

Oh and that’s not the end of it. My old friend, Lamon and his wife, were there with me and we decided to sample some of their desserts. Above is a picture of (seriously) the best tasting chocolate cake I’ve ever had and I’m not a big fan of chocolate cakes. Every cake that I’ve had up until this day was “too” something. Too dry, too sweet, too much frosting, too little frosting….stuff like that. Anyway, this delectible treat was just right and on the same pornographic level as the sandwich. You remember that scene in Matrix Reloaded when the Merovingian sent a cake to woman during his speech about cause and effect?

Anyway, if you are ever in the Chicago-area, stop by Portillo’s and get an Italian beef sandwich and piece of cake. Just make sure no one 18 and younger is around.
Peace.
